Acceptance of Gifts and Grants
Background:
Rick and Connie Long donated $80 to the East High Boys Golf program.
The Mayo Clinic Foundation provided $10,000 for equipment for the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences program.
The Mankato Clinic Foundation provided $2,476 for diabetes diagnostic kits for the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences program.
The Modern Woodmen Youth Service Club donated $500 worth of school supplies to Dakota Meadows Middle School and Roosevelt Elementary School.
Sertoma of Greater Mankato donated $1,500 to the hard of hearing program.
The Mankato Basketball Association provided the following donations:
$1,500 to West High Boys Basketball
$1,500 to West High Girls Basketball
$4,500 to East High for Basketball Hoops
The Connecting Kids program received the following donations:
$1,200 from the Masonic Lodge 12
$9,000 from the Anthony Ford Fund
$1,040 from K & G Gymnastics
$1,000 from Mankato Area Gymnastics School
$395 from Minnesota State University Event Management
$1,200 from Minnesota Masonic Charities
Drummer’s Garden Center donated $200 to East Senior High to be used in the Educare silent auction basket.
Wells Fargo provided a $1,000 Community Connections Grant to East Senior High for their teacher recognition program.
Quality 1 Hr Foto donated materials and labor valued at $345 to the East High Activities Department for the Spring honors poster.
Prairie Ecology Bus provided a $4,000 grant to fifth grade at Hoover Elementary.
