Acceptance of Gifts and Grants
Background:
An anonymous donor gave $4,000 worth of student equipment to the District’s Special Education Department.
The employees of Pioneer Bank (two locations) donated $25 and school supplies valued at $300 to the District.
Industrial Fabrication Services Inc. donated scrap metal valued at $200 to East High for welding practice.
The Mankato Sunrise Lions Club donated United States Constitution Booklets valued at $450 for use in our secondary Social Studies classes.
East High VEX Robotics received the following donations:
Mark Weingartz (Dan’s Barber Shop) - $100
Tana and Tom Marthaler - $100
D. L. Machado - $500
Knutson & Casey donated $100 to the East High Student Council.
Prairie Ecology Bus Center provided a $6,000 grant to Franklin Elementary School.
