Closing ECSE to Open Enrollment
Background:
Minnesota Statute 120.062 Enrollment Options Program requires a School Board to adopt specific standards for the rejection of the Open Enrollment Program applications due to program student capacity limitations. The administrative team will present a recommendation on Monday to close the Early Childhood Special Education programs serving students ages Birth to 6. Stephanie White, Director of Special Education and Student Issues, will be at the Board meeting to respond to questions regarding this recommendation.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends Board approval to close the ECSE program to Open Enrollment.
