Act on 2018-2019 Employee Disability Insurance Renewal
Background:
In 2016, bids were solicited for the District’s Long-Term Disability insurance program. Madison National Life Insurance Company submitted a bid for .25% of covered payroll with a three-year rate guarantee. At that time, the school board approved the proposed rates on a three-year commitment.
Recommended Action:
The administration on behalf of the District’s Employee Insurance Committee recommends continuing this insurance program and entering the third year of a three-year rate.
