Background:
The School Board adopted a Resolution proposing to place tenured personnel on unrequested leave of absence at its May 4 meeting. The next step is to adopt a resolution placing tenured personnel on unrequested leave of absence.
RESOLUTION PLACING TENURED PERSONNEL
ON UNREQUESTED LEAVE OF ABSENCE AT THE END OF THE
2014-15 SCHOOL YEAR
ON UNREQUESTED LEAVE OF ABSENCE AT THE END OF THE
2014-15 SCHOOL YEAR
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the School Board of Independent School District No. 77 that the teachers listed below be placed on unrequested leave of absence as teachers in Independent School District No. 77, effective as of the end of the 2014-15 contract year pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 122A.40, Subd. 10 and Article XXI of the current Master Agreement between Independent School District No. 77 and the Mankato Teachers’ Association, without pay or fringe benefits.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a notice of placement on unrequested leave of absence together with a copy of this resolution, be forwarded to said teacher by certified mail or personally. An affidavit of service shall be placed in the teacher’s file together with a copy of the notice and resolution.
Recommended Action:
The administration recommends approval of this item.
