Acceptance of Gifts and Grants

Background:

Mayo Clinic Health System donated $5,000 towards ALPS - Active Learners Program in School – for the 2018-2019 school year.  The goal of the program is to encourage extra physical activity before and during the student’s school day. 
 
Schwickert’s Tecta America donated $100 for the District Soccer Program’s Pack the Stands.
         
The following items were donated to the West High Technology Education Department:
          Josh Braam – Volkswagen Sedan valued at $150
          Tim Rees at Keystone – Vehicle Fenders valued at $250
          Condux International – Steel for Welding valued at $49.80
 
Washington Elementary received a donation of $196 from AdoptAClassroom.org.
 
Jeremy and Heather Olson donated a small Rifton supine stander valued at $2,912 to the Special Education Department for physical therapy.
 
Walmart provided a $1,000 grant to the Central Freedom School family/consumer science classes.

Recommended Action:

The administration recommends Board acceptance of these generous gifts.
