Acceptance of Gifts and Grants
Background:
The family of Janette Young has donated $1,500 to the Health and Physical Education Departments in her memory. Mrs. Young taught Health at Mankato East High School, retiring in 1984.
The Key City Sertoma Club donated $1,500 to the District-wide hard of hearing program.
Basil and Linda Janavaras donated $1,000 for the 2015 John Basil Janavaras Memorial Scholarship. This annual donation provides two $500 scholarships – one for a varsity soccer player and one for a varsity hockey player.
The Minnesota Middle School Association provided a $500 grant to Dakota Meadows Middle School to assist in purchasing the Weather Bug.
