Subject: Resolution 24-R-74- Authorizing the Approval of Development Agreements with Wesley H. Rumpf, Chad Russell Brady and Amanda Brady, for approximately 44 acres of land in relation to Annexation, Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Status, Development Regulations and other matters in connection therewith. BACKGROUND

Wesley H. Rumpf owns approximately 28.901 acres located on Schaefer Road, more specifically described as Bexar County Property Identification Number 309807 and 309814. Chad Russell Brady and Amanda Brady own approximately 14.932 acres also located on Schaefer Road, more specifically described as Bexar County Property Identification Number 309837. The properties in question are currently in the City of Schertz Extraterritorial Jurisdicition or ETJ and are proposed to be developed as a residential community including associated infrastructure and other public improvements. The proposed Development Agreement outlines development regulations that would be in effect for the subject properties if approved. The Development Agreement is pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Chapter 212 in relation to property within the ETJ. 

GOAL

The goal of Resolution 24-R-74 is to authorize a Development Agreement with Wesley H. Rumpf, Chad Russell Brady and Amanda Brady for approximately 44 acres.

The community benefit is to promote safe, orderly, efficient development and bring about the City's vision of future growth. 

SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDED ACTION

Staff recommends that the City Council approve Resolution 24-R-74, authorizing a Development Agreement with Wesley H. Rumpf, Chad Russell Brady and Amanda Brady.
