BACKGROUND
Lookout Road is the next reconstruction and reinvestment project in the Schertz industrial park.

FISCAL IMPACT
The upcharge in construction costs can be associated with the redesign of the intersections to accomodate 18-wheeler traffic and provide sidewalks. John Nowak will provide the updated breakdown of costs including requested costs of sidewalks.
SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDED ACTION
Staff recommends approval of the additional charges for Lookout Rd. reconstruction to better accomodate traffic and walkability.
