BACKGROUND
Penshorn Cattle Co. LLC owns approximately 190.7 acres of property, of which approximately 1.122 acres is utilized for residential purposes and the remaining approximately 189.56 acres is utilized for Agricultural Operations. Kay Penshorn Vincent owns approximately 42.021 acres of property, of which approximately 1.751 acres is utilized for residential purposes and the remaining approximately 40.27 acres is utilized for Agricultural Operations. The proposed Development Agreements with these property owners would allow for the annexation of the approximately 229.83 acres that is utilized for Agricultural Operations. The proposed Agreements would also allow for the approximately 2.783 acres that is utilized for residential purposes to remain within the City of Schertz Extraterritorial Jurisdiction, or in other words, could not be annexed into the City of Schertz for the term of the agreement.
GOAL
The goal of Resolution 24-R-73 is to authorize Development Agreements with Penshorn Cattle Co., LLC and Kay Penshorn Vincent for approximately 233 acres.

SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDED ACTION
