BACKGROUND
The City of Schertz is need of services to market, develop and manage telecommunication tenants on City-owned properties. Charmain Sanchez, dba Terreno Services (the Consultant), has been performing these services with contracts in 2013 and 2019. The City has identified that the consultant has the required knowledge of City property and procedures and is qualified to continue to provide the services needed.
GOAL
To authorize the City Manager to enter into a Personal Services Agreement with Charmain Sanchez, dba Torreno Services.
COMMUNITY BENEFIT
The continued services by the Consultant will ensure the City receives the best market value and management for its property while occupied by telecommunication tenants.
SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approval of this resolution will allow the execution of this Personal Services Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT
The Consultant shall receive a Management Free equal to twenty-seven percent (27%) of the “Gross Receipts” collected by the City from lease or rental agreements executed during the term of the Original Agreement, the term of this Agreement and any renewal(s) hereof.
