Public Affairs came home from the 2026 Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) Conference with three Awards of Excellence for:

• Publications (Report): FY 23/24 PAFR
• Publications (Special Publication): New Resident Guide
• Social Media (Best Social Media Post): Schertz Traffic Jamz

This year, there were more than 700 submissions from across the state, so earning a nomination alone was a major accomplishment. The Award of Excellence is equivalent to a second-place finish, making this recognition even more impressive. Last year, the team was operating with limited staffing and still managed to produce award-winning content and materials. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication continue to shine through in everything they do.
