The City has conducted a biannual employee engagement survey since 2014 through the University of Texas' Institute for Organizational Excellence. The purpose of the survey is to solicit employee thoughts, ideas, and opinions on many work-related issues. The primary value of this survey is to continue to create better two-way communication, encourage employees to share their thoughts on critical issues and concerns, and gain insight by learning more about how to utilize the results in our organization’s priorities, policies, and practices.

The survey was open for two weeks and all employees received multiple email reminders and opportunities to participate. Individual responses are anonymous.

Dr. Noel Landuyt is the Director of the Institute for Organizational Excellence and will be presenting the results to Council.
