ITEM:
Presentation regarding the San Luis Cal Ripken Baseball Team for under 10-year-olds to compete as the Arizona State Champions in the 2017 Cal Ripken 10 Year Old Pacific South West Regional Tournament. (Leonel Avelar, Head Coach)
SUMMARY:
The San Luis Cal Ripken Baseball Team for under 10-year-olds (San Luis 10u) have been undefeated and have won the State Championship for the past two years. Mr. Leonel Avelar, Head Coach, wishes to present his team to the Mayor and City Council and he would like to request financial support in order for all the team members to participate at the 2017 10u Cal Ripken Regionals to take place in Visalia, California from July 17 through July 22, 2017.
