ITEM:
Discussion on any and all matters regarding the City of San Luis Emergency Operations Plan: May 31, 2006. (Hank Green, Fire Chief)
SUMMARY:
Earlier this year, Council member Carrasco-Luna asked the City of San Luis Fire Department the status of the existing City of San Luis Emergency Operations Plan; the copy at hand was dated May 31, 2006.
Assistant Fire Chief Marc Holyfield has reviewed the document and has some recommendations for the plan, will request some direction regarding the wants, wishes, desires and expectations of the plan and suggest a program and schedule to provide training and orientation to Elected Officials, Department Heads and critical positions regarding their roles during declared disasters.
