ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2043. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, providing for a Call of Election for the 2018 Primary and General Elections, designating the election dates and purpose, designating the deadline and location for candidates to file Nomination Petitions and designating the deadline for voter registration. SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis Primary and General Elections for 2018 are scheduled to be held on August 28, 2018, and November 6, 2018. Publication of Call of Election is a good way to inform the City of San Luis voters about the election and to alert candidates of filing dates. Although publication of Call of Election is optional, it has been customary to publish a Call of Election four (4) consecutive days in a daily newspaper at least one hundred (100) days prior to the Primary Election.
