Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the award of a construction contract to DPE Construction, Inc. for pavement of Merrill Avenue Improvements Phase II (CDBG Contract #114-18). (Jenny Torres, Economic Development Manager)
SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis intends to award DPE Construction, Inc. the pavement contract for Merrill Avenue Improvements Phase II (Community Development Block Grant Contract #114-18) in the amount of $291,635.66. The contractor was selected competitively by sealed bids and was the lowest bidder determined to be qualified and capable of performing the contract. The project will be funded by a Community Development Block Grant from the Arizona Department of Housing.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO ACCEPT THE BID AND APPROVE THE CONTRACT FOR DPE CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS ON MERRILL AVENUE AS PRESENTED.
