Discussion on any and all matters regarding the Agreement and Declaration of Trust for City of San Luis Employee Benefit Trust dated March 14, 2012. (Olivia Jenkins, Human Resources Manager and Kay Macuil, City Attorney).

Current members were appointed to serve on March 14, 2012, and to date have been on the board for more than six (6) years.  All appointments to the Board of Trustees is overdue.  Trustees serve 5-year terms and can only serve one consecutive term after their first term.  The initial terms were supposed to be staggered.  To comply as closely as possible to the intent of the trust, the next appointments will be staggered.  Please see the attached provisions of the Declaration of Trust, Section 3..04.

Board Trustee, Jose Andrade, has expressed that he no longer wishes to serve as a trustee.

The Mayor of the City of San Luis recommends and City Council Appoints members.  Staff would like the Trustees' suggestions of people to contact to find out if they are interested in serving for the Mayor and the City Council's consideration.
