ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the Service Agreement for EBSO as the Third Party Administrator. (Olivia Jenkins, Human Resources Manager)
SUMMARY:
At the April 2018 meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Trustees approved the change of third-party administrator since Mayo is no longer in the business of third party administration. At that time, the Trustee's broker presented a choice of three (3) third-party administrators and the Trustees chose EBSO.
To process claims, EBSO needed to have the agreement signed. Between the time we received the EBSO Agreement and the time the agreement was necessary, we were unable to bring together a quorum of the Trustees. Since the selection and the cost of EBSO was already approved the signing was just perfunctory. Therefore, staff asked Trustee Maria Gonzalez to sign the agreement until the Trustees could form a quorum.
This action item is simply to approve and ratify the signing of EBSO's contract effective July 1, 2018,

I MOVE TO APPROVE AND RATIFY THE CONTRACT WITH EBSO EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2018.
