Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding authorization to award a construction contract to Taylor Engineering, PLLC for East Mesa Water Lines Project. (Eulogio Vera, Public Works Director)
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends that the City of San Luis award Taylor Engineering, PLLC the construction contract for East Mesa Water Lines Project in the amount of $363,777.00. The contractor was selected competitively by sealed bids and was the lowest bidder determined to be qualified and capable of performing the contract. The project is a budgeted item and will be funded by the Water Enterprise Fund.
This project will consist of installing approximately 2,500 lineal feet of 10-inch water line and approximately 7,700 lineal feet of water line along with appropriate appurtenances to create a looped distribution system in east San Luis and improving system reliability and efficiency. New lines will be installed along Co. 23-1/2, Avenue E, and Avenue D.

I MOVE TO APPROVE THE AWARDING OF THE CONTRACT TO TAYLOR ENGINEERING, PLLC FOR $363,777.00 AS PRESENTED.
