Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the position of Fire Chief including confirmation of the possible appointment by the City Manager and approval of terms and/or of conditions pursuant to San Luis City Code §33.04. (Tadeo A. De La Hoya, City Manager)
SUMMARY:
The San Luis City Code §33.04 states:
"The Fire Chief shall be appointed by the City Manager, whose appointment shall be confirmed by the City Council, and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager on such terms and conditions as may be approved by the City Council. The Fire Chief shall be subject to the direction of the City Manager."
This item is for action according to the above section of the City Code.
