ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding plan document amendment to pandemic and epidemic events by providing free testing and out-of-pocket costs for beneficiaries. (Susan Posada, Benefits Consultant and Broker)

SUMMARY:

Due to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) there is a need to amend current plan documents although there may be assistance through state and national programs, this amendment would cover beneficiaries if these programs are not available or not created.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

  1. I MOVE TO AMEND THE US PLAN TO WAIVE ALL DEDUCTIBLES, COPAYS AND CO-INSURANCE FOR THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 TESTING.
 
  1. I MOVE TO AMEND THE MEXICO PLAN TO WAIVE ALL DEDUCTIBLES, COPAYS AND CO-INSURANCE FOR THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 TESTING.
 
  1. I MOVE TO AMEND THE MEXICO PLAN TO ALLOW TESTING IN THE US.
