ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2140. A resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona approving an Addendum to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of San Luis, Arizona and Yuma County for the purpose of providing mandatory field training. (Nohemy Echavarria, Magistrate)
SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis has previously entered into an IGA with Yuma County Superior Court and it's justice courts to provide field training as mandated by the Arizona Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the Courts. The City of San Luis has entered into this IGA for several years. This Addendum is with the Yuma Superior Court to provide training to the San Luis Municipal Court. Therefore, San Luis Municipal Court requests that City Council approve the Addendum in the amount of $1,000.00.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO ADOPT AND APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 2140 AS PRESENTED.
