An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis Arizona Amending the City Code Chapter 112 setting the Border Area Taxi Vehicle Permit Fee by resolution and making minor corrections to the City Code; repealing any conflicting provisions; and providing for severability. SUMMARY:
At the January 6, 2021, Work Session, three taxi regulations were under discussion, including a cleanup ordinance to allow the Border Area Taxi Vehicle permit to be set by resolution rather than by Ordinance and making minor corrections to the City Code. Ordinance No. 393 set the fee at $50. Ordinance No. 408 removes the fee so that it may be set by resolution. (Please see the attached map for the Border Area previously designated in Ordinance No. 393).

FISCAL IMPACT STATEMENT (IF THIS IS A BUDGET TRANSFER, YOU MUST ATTACH THE BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FORM):
The $50 permit fee for 35 border taxicabs is eliminated and the fee is to be set by resolution. Resolution 2152 sets the fee at $24 going forward. The impact on revenue is minimal
