ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2160. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, County of Yuma validating the results of Request for Qualifications No. 2021-002 for on-call professional services for city architectural services and authorizing the appointment of four (4) architectural firms to a list from which Architectural firms will be drawn on an as-needed basis to provide needed professional services. SUMMARY:
This year staff developed a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) packet for On-Call Architectural Services, very similar to the process used for on-call engineering services by the city over the past five (5) years. RFQ No. 2021-002 was announced in January 2021 in the Yuma Sun, city's website and the Yuma Plan Room. City staff conducted an optional pre-proposal meeting on January 27, 2021 and received RFQ packets from four (4) qualified architectural firms on February 11, 2021. An evaluation committee was formed to evaluate proposals. The four (4) eligible proposals were reviewed; see attached RFQ No. 2021-002 On-Call Architectural Services Summary and Recommendation List.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
