ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2161. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, County of Yuma, validating the results of a Request for Qualifications RFQ No. 2021-001 for on-call civil engineering services and authorizing the appointment of seven (7) civil engineering firms to a list from which city engineering firms will drawn on an as-need basis to provide needed professional services. SUMMARY:
About five (5) years ago, the City Council passed Resolution No. 1143 appointing eight (8) civil engineering firms to provide engineering services to the City of San Luis. Resolution No. 1143 is set to expire in April 2021. A Request for Qualifications was developed and properly noticed in the newspaper, city website and Yuma Plan room. An evaluation committee was formed to evaluate proposals. Seven (7) statements of qualifications were submitted by eligible engineering firms for review and evaluation. RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2161.
