SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis continues to be one of the fastest-growing cities in the State of Arizona. It is critical that we continue to ensure that the city's wastewater treatment capability and capacity are adequate for both near- and long-term residential, industrial and commercial growth. The Public Works Department has contracted with PACE Advanced Water Engineering (an approved on-call engineering consultant for the City of San Luis) to assess both near- and long-term demands for wastewater treatment and to provide recommended improvements (both quantitative and qualitative) to the city's wastewater treatment capabilities.
Mr. Mike Krebs of PACE Advanced Water Engineering will be presenting to the Mayor and Council the findings of the assessment as well as the recommended infrastructure improvements to the city's wastewater treatment capabilities. This presentation will also touch on different wastewater treatment processes and provide a thorough comparison between these processes, including cost analysis of the upfront needed investment as well as the cost associated with operation and maintenance.
