Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2242. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona amending section HR-4-03(A) of the City of San Luis Personnel Policies relating to holidays; repealing conflicting provisions and providing for severability. (Ralph Velez, Interim City Manager)
SUMMARY:
This item was continued from the December 7, 2022, Special Council Meeting. The resolution:
- removes Columbus Day (the second Monday in October),
- adds Native American Heritage Day (the day after Thanksgiving), and
- removes COVID-19 Pandemic Remembrance Day as a paid holiday but retains it as a remembrance day.
