ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2267. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, creating a Street Lighting Improvement District and declaring its intention to purchase electricity and maintain poles, luminaries, and underground conduit, together with a charge for use of lighting facilities, for lighting public streets within the area described as CDB Valley View Apartments, San Luis, Arizona.  (Jose A. SUMMARY:

As a requirement of the City of San Luis Subdivision Regulations, a Street Lighting Improvement District is required for new subdivisions. This development was approved through a lot split, however, it was conditioned that it had to comply with all applicable Subdivision Regulations, including the requirement for the creation of a new street lighting improvement district.

The City has received a petition to form a Street Lighting Improvement District for CDB Valley View Apartments Lot Split.  This is the resolution of the intention to create CDB Valley View Apartments Street Lighting Improvement District.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I MOVE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 2267.
