ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Order No. 2023-13. An Order of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, authorizing and directing the entering into an Intergovernmental Agreement with Yuma County, Arizona, for the provision of election services for years 2024-2029. (Sonia Cornelio, City Clerk)
SUMMARY:
The city seeks to participate in consolidated elections and wishes to enter into this agreement with the Yuma County Elections Department and the Recorder's Office. The duration of this agreement is for five (5) years from the date all parties have signed it; the current IGA will expire on February 20, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
