Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Ordinance No. 478. An ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, repealing Section 2.05.250. (Council Members Luis E. Cabrera, Lizeth Servin and Javier Vargas)

SUMMARY:
Ordinance No. 479 amends and restates San Luis City Code Section 2.05.020 so that the Mayor and Council Members take and subscribe to the Oath of Office on the first Wednesday in December, except for those elected to fill a vacancy or elected by a special election. If the certificate of election is not issued by the first Wednesday in December, then the City shall aim to hold the Swearing-In-Ceremony on another day within the same month of December when all the newly elected officials have their certificates of election and assume office together.
