ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2392. A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, approving the intergovernmental agreement between the City of San Luis and Gadsden Elementary School District for the use of City facilities for reunification drills. (Jenny Torres, Acting City Manager)
SUMMARY:
The Gadsden Elementary School District has requested permission to use Joe Orduño Park to conduct its school reunification drills. These drills are to be conducted once per school year, per school, and help both parents and students understand the procedure for reuniting in the event of an emergency. The purpose of this IGA is to ensure that these drills are conducted safely and efficiently, with proper coordination between the City and the Gadsden Elementary School District.
Under the IGA, the city's approval must be by resolution. There is no cost associated with this IGA.
