ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 1155. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, approving Intergovernmental Agreement of the 4FrontED Binational Program to support Economic Development in the Greater Yuma Region. (Jenny Torres, Community Development Director)
SUMMARY:
The municipalities of Yuma County and Yuma County expressed an interest in establishing a bi-national economic development program. The County and Cities shall contribute to the funding to meet the goals in this agreement based on twenty cents (20¢) per capita using the 2015 population census estimate. The City's contribution for this effort is $6,800.00.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE AND ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 1155.
