ITEM:

Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding approval of the Independent Contractor Agreement with Velez Consulting Services.  (Tadeo De La Hoya, City Manager)

SUMMARY:

Mr. Ralph Velez has been providing consulting services to the City of San Luis since November 2015.  A revised agreement has been submitted for Mayor and City Council's review and consideration.  Staff recommends that the Independent Contractor Agreement be approved by the Mayor and City Council effective as of January 1, 2017.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I MOVE TO APPROVE THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT WITH VELEZ CONSULTING SERVICES AND APPROVE THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS AS SET OUT IN THE BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FORM AS PRESENTED.
