Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the approval of an engineering design proposal of the County 22nd Street and 4th Avenue Intersection Left Turn Lane Improvements Project by Nicklaus Engineering, Inc. (Eulogio Vera, Public Works Director)
SUMMARY:
Staff contacted Nicklaus Engineering, Inc. to assist with improvements to the intersection of County 22nd Street and 4th Avenue. The improvements will help to alleviate the vehicle congestion in the intersection during peak hours. The scope of design work includes, traffic assessment, Geotechnical Investigation/Report and Design. Subject Capital Improvement Project was approved for Fiscal Year 2017.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE ENGINEERING DESIGN PROPOSAL FOR COUNTY TWENTY-SECOND STREET AND FOURTH AVENUE INTERSECTION LEFT TURN LANE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,025.00.
