Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding ratification of the amendment to the December 1, 2018, Facility Operation and Management Agreement with LaSalle Corrections, L.L.C., to add duties described in an Intergovernmental Service Agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. (Kay Marion Macuil, General Counsel for the Corporation)

On May 29, 2019, the Board intended to approve the attached amendment to the Operating Agreement with LaSalle to comply with the requirements under the Intergovernmental Service Agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).  However, the Resolution Counsel provided to the Board to adopt the amendment erroneously did not have sufficient language for that purpose.  LaSalle approved the amendment by signing it on May 30, 2019.

Therefore, this agenda item is a simple technical matter to ratify (approve retroactively) the amendment the Board intended to approve on May 29, 2019.
