Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the approval to award the Juan Sanchez Boulevard Reconstruction Project to the lowest responsive bidder. (Eulogio Vera, Public Works Director)

SUMMARY:

The City of San Luis went out to formal bid pursuant to Title 34 of the Arizona Revised Statutes for construction of the Juan Sanchez Boulevard Reconstruction Project between Merrill Avenue and Main Street. Bids will be received on Monday May 15, 2017. The project will be funded partially by City Highway Users Revenue Fund and partially by City Wastewater bond funds . Project duration is to be 120 calendar days, which means that funds will need to be committed in fiscal year 2018 for its completion.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I HEREBY MOVE TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR THE JUAN SANCHEZ BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $650,000.00
