Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the approval of the organizational audits and assessments contract for the San Luis Police Department by LD Consulting, LLC. (Richard Jessup, Acting Chief of Police)
SUMMARY:
The San Luis Police Department is contracting out for a complete organizational audit and assessment services for the Police Department. Three (3) contract proposals have been received and reviewed by Police Administration. The one time expense for a complete organizational audit and assessment services is $27,850.00. LD Consulting, LLC from Glendale, Arizona, met all of service needs established by the San Luis Police Department Administration and procurement code, under San Luis City Code-Purchasing Section 36.01(D) during the inquiry for a complete organizational audit and assessment services.
LD Consulting, LLC from Glendale, Arizona provided a contract quote of $27,850.00. We also contacted Exceptional Training, LLC which provided a contract quote of $30,000.00, in addition to a third service provider, Elite Performance Assessment Consultants, LLC from Thousand Oaks, California which provided a contract quote of $41,100.00. Under San Luis City Code-Purchasing Section 36.01(D) for purchasing in this amount requires three (3) quotes which are provided. The contracted service was not approved in the budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
After reviewing the three (3) quotes, LD Consulting, LLC service proposal was determined to meet the department's service requirements.
San Luis Police Department is requesting for Council to award LD Consulting, LLC the service contract proposal under San Luis City Code-Purchasing Section 36.01(D) as the lowest responsive quote.

I MOVE TO APPROVE THE CONTRACT WITH LD CONSULTING, LLC AS PRESENTED AS THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE QUOTE IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,850.00.
