Discussion and possible action regarding any and all matters regarding the appointment of a Temporary Magistrate or Temporary Magistrates and related contract or contracts.  (Tadeo A. De La Hoya, City Manager)

SUMMARY:

City Manager Tadeo De La Hoya has requested this item so that City Council may take action as to the direction to appoint a Temporary Magistrate or Temporary Magistrates to cover the Municipal Court while recruitment efforts are underway to fill the vacancy of Magistrate.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:

I MOVE TO APPOINT TEMPORARY MAGISTRATES TO COVER THE SAN LUIS MUNICIPAL COURT UNTIL CITY COUNCIL APPOINTS A PERMANENT MAGISTRATE AND IN ANY EVENT FOR A TERM NOT TO EXCEED _______ DAYS,
