ITEM:
Discussion and possible directions to staff on any and all matters regarding a mural project considered for the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center south wall. (Lizandro Galaviz, Director of Parks and Recreation)
SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis, Parks & Recreation Department, would like to work with Abraham Andrade & Lindsey Benacka on a mural project for the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center. This art mural would be painted on the south wall of the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center. Mr. Andrade & Ms. Benacka will be presenting the artist background with the potential mural project design & concept. If Council directs staff to move foward with this art mural project, a local consortium group will be providing funding for the project.
