Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding authorization to purchase Mk 5 Model 895 Parking Meters with Apple Pay and Top Dome to replace out of service meters using Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Capital Projects budgeted funds. (Richard Jessup, Chief of Police)
SUMMARY:
The San Luis Police Department is seeking approval for the purchase of 75 new parking meters to replace current meters that are out of service.
The parking meters will come with all applicable equipment and software for payment processing. One training class for personnel will also be provided. The purchase will be made through IPS Group in the amount of $49,689.21, which will include installation and shipping charges. Funds for the purchase were approved for use from Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Capital Projects.
