ITEM:
Discussion and possible action to hold an Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) and A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(4) for legal advice and to consider a possible agreement with Emerald Correctional Management regarding the San Luis Region Detention Center litigation and modification of existing operating and management agreement and related discussions. SUMMARY:
Executive session to present:
- updates about the operations of the San Luis Regional Detention Center;
- proposed agreement with Emerald Correctional Management regarding litigation over tax liabilities in the case of San Luis Facilities Development Corporation v. CEC No. CV-14-02633-PHX-DMF currently pending in the United States District Court In and For the District of Arizona (CEC has brought suit against Emerald in that litigation);
- proposed modification of the current operating and management agreement; and
- other possible discussion related to the operations of the San Luis Regional Detention Center.

I MOVE TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION.
