Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Resolution No. 2136. A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, authorizing the submission of an application to the United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management to acquire federal right of way land for the widening of Cesar Chavez Boulevard. (Jenny Torres, Economic Development Manager)
SUMMARY:
The City of San Luis is working on acquiring federal right of way land required to widen Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The city requires approximately 46 acres of federal land from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). BLM requires a formal authorization to submit an application for transportation and utility systems and facilities on federal lands.
Staff is requesting approval of Resolution No. 2136 and provide the City Manager authority to sign any pertinent documents.
