ITEM:
Discussion on any and all matters regarding the City Clean-Up Campaign. (Council Member Africa Luna-Carrasco)
SUMMARY:
Council Member Africa Luna-Carrasco requested that this item be placed on the Agenda for the Work Session for November 18, 2015 to discuss the City Clean-up Campaign - with emphasis on Main Street, but not limited to the downtown area.
Adopt a Street – Offer the different non-profit organizations, e.g., schools & churches the opportunity to adopt a street and place a street sign with the name of their organization. Council should set the example by being the first ones to adopt a street. This should be passed on to all incoming City Councils as a tradition.
