ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the date request approval to retro/ratifying ESurgeries agreement to 03/23/2020 due to agreement with San Luis Walking In Clinic.(Susan Posada, Broker and Benefits Consultant)
SUMMARY:
Due to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), approved agreement with ESurgeries was due to take effect on 07/01/2020 but was put into place on 03/23/2020 to accommodate medical services for those employees who have MEXICO ONLY coverage. The Agreement was put in place between ESurgeries and San Luis Walk In Clinics to service those employees who might not be able to cross to Mexico due to pandemic and the partial closure of the entrance to the U.S. from Mexico.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE RETRO EFFECTIVE DATE OF AGREEMENT WITH ESURGERIES AS PRESENTED
