ITEM:
Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding the authorization of virtual visits with primary care physicians and mental health providers during Pandemic. (Susan Posada, Broker and Consultant)
SUMMARY:
During current pandemic with COVID-19 many primary care physicians for both the U.S. and Mexico are seeing patients through virtual visits or telephone calls. Therefore, the current plan document needs to be changed so that members can continue to have access to their physicians virtually and telephonically.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE PLAN CHANGE TO U.S. AND MEXICO MEDICAL PLANS AS PRESENTED.
