Discussion and possible action to hold an Executive Session pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1) and A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3) on any and all matters relating to the position of City Manager and the possibility of an independent contractor as consultant to the Interim City Manager and City Council, the terms of the consultant contract, and/or discussion and legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the City regarding the same. SUMMARY:
The Mayor has asked for this Executive Session for Council to discuss the possibility of an independent contractor as consultant to the Interim City Manager and City Council. It is also proposed that the Interim City Manager would report to the consultant.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO HOLD AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSES STATED IN THIS AGENDA ITEM.
