ITEM:

Discussion and possible directions to staff on any and all matters regarding Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for On-Call Engineering Services RFQ No. 2021-001. (Mary French-Jones, Grants Writer)

SUMMARY:

About five (5) years ago, the City Council passed Resolution No. 1143 appointing eight (8) civil engineering firms to provide engineering services to the City of San Luis. Resolution No. 1143 is set to expire in April 2021. A Request for Qualifications was developed and properly noticed in the newspaper, city website and Yuma Plan room. An evaluation committee was formed to evaluate proposals. Seven (7) statements of qualifications were submitted by eligible engineering firms for review and evaluation, see attached RFQ No. 2021-001 On-Call Engineering Services Summary and Recommendation List.

Staff is presenting the evaluation to City Council for direction as to whether to include all or only the top evaluations.

RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
