Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding authorization to purchase one (1) new 2021 Ford 4x2 Super Crew truck and one (1) new 2021 Ford 4x4 Super Crew truck for the Department of Public Works, Wastewater Division. (Eulogio Vera, Director of Public Works)
SUMMARY:
Staff seeks approval for the purchase of one (1) new 2021 Ford F-150 4x2 Super Crew truck and one (1) new 2021 Ford F-150 4x4 Super Crew truck for Wastewater Division. These trucks would be additional to our wastewater division fleet to more adequately serve our expanding operations. Bill Alexander Ford Lincoln is a local vendor. A state contract is available for the subject purchases which meets the required procurement process, under City Code-Purchasing Section 36.01(G). The vehicles were approved in the budget for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021.
RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION:
I MOVE TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) NEW FORD F-150 SUPER CREW TRUCKS IN THE AMOUNT OF $70,460.82.

Approved purchase in Fiscal Year 2020-2021 budget. Purchasing price came in higher than originally estimated last year but account has enougn funding to cover purchase.
