Discussion and possible action on any and all matters regarding Ordinance No. 415. An ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of San Luis, Arizona, enacting a Code of Ordinances for the City of San Luis, revising, amending, restating, codifying and compiling certain existing general ordinances of the City of San Luis dealing with subjects embraced in such Code of Ordinances with Code Publishing Company; repealing any conflicting provision; providing for severability; and providing for penalties. SUMMARY:
The first City Code for the City of San Luis was adopted by the City Council on May 12, 1982 but was never codified. Ordinance No. 318 adopted by the City Council in 2012 did codify the ordinances by putting them together in one book. The city codified its ordinances with a different publisher, Code Publishing Company, and is current through Ordinance No. 408. Supplements of the City Code will be done quarterly to add new ordinances adopted by the City Council.
